Quality Assurance & Quality Control for Exploration and Mining samples

BSA manage all Exploration and Mining projects with excellent QAQC program. BSA set up QAQC program in every stage on stage of exploration and mining projects. The QAQC program must be refer to international best practice amanage by “Competent Person”. The goals of a Good QAQC Program as follow:

• to prevent the entry of large error into the database used for resource modelling and grade control of mine production.
• to demonstrate that sampling and analytical variances are small, relative to the geological variance, and
• to provide assurance that the accuracy of data under lying the resource model can be confirmed, within reasonable Iimits, by other laboratories, mine productions, metallurgical testing, and ultimately by mill production. BSA manages a commercial analytical laboratory (Minertech) at Kendari Southeast Sulawesi. Minertech lab operates XRF instruments (Axios, Venus, and Rigaku) and SRF Spectrometer (Axios) for chemical assay analyses. BSA with Minertech lab as a new brand of commercial laboratory offers assay analyzing of Nickel laterite and other commodities with high quality, independence service and effective cost for costumers satisfaction orientation. In addition to assaying services, we offer sample preparation work of both at exploration and mine sites or at Minertech lab with international sampling protocol method such as Japanese Industrial System (JIS) and others.

BSA set up the professional team and apply excellent sampling protocol and QAQC program start from samples taken out from inner tube core drilling, ROM pile, outcrops and others type of samples, through assaying at laboratory, until exploration database. The sampling protocol and QAQC program cover every stage as follow: Sample preparation stage are free from contamination, spilled out and mixed up and ensure security of sample storage. Selected QC samples (duplicate, blank and standard samples) are inserted since the first sample reduction and quality of final product of (pulp) samples are guarantee. The selected commercial lab for assaying samples has quality management system certifications (ISO 17025 and ISO 9001:2008). Furthermore, the lab use accurate and precise instruments and excellent protocol, and available for clients assessments such as result of CRM (Certified Reference Material) and calibration monitoring including detection limit. We can set up external check lab to the certified laboratory as the secondary laboratory. We guarantee all the assay data is properly stored, protected from the mix up and inaccessible by unauthorized parties.
